Trey Anastasio has built a career of extraordinary stylistic scope as the singer and guitarist of Phish and as a solo artist of wide horizons. Seis de Mayo is that long-anticipated labor of love.
Recorded at The Barn, Trey’s studio in Burlington, Vermont, the album features Trey backed by a long list of stellar musicians. A mighty three-piece rhythm section nails down the grooves, which range from light to Latin to sweetly funky to wickedly syncopated.
